Peekaboo, I see you!

Who knew that toddlers love to play peekaboo so much?

The boys were on the couch together yesterday afternoon, so I threw the blanket over both and immediately pulled it back up. Peekaboo! It turned into about 20 minutes of the two of them giggling, surprising each other, tunneling under the blanket and throwing all the pillows around.

I totally had to get in there with them… it was like being little again and getting super excited for a game of hide and seek!

In other news, our landlords just informed us that they’re putting the house on the market. The timing is great, because we were just discussing how we’re ready for a slightly bigger place when our lease ends in January. However, it will really be sad to move this time around… this will always be the boys’ first home and we have made some great memories here. I guess it’s just on to the next adventure :) Let’s hope we find a new set of landlords who allow us to make the house our own through paint and DIY projects. Fingers crossed, everyone and stay tuned for our house hunting and possible move into DC or Maryland (gasp!).

(ps) If any of you know someone looking for an awesome townhouse for sale in Alexandria, let me know – I’ll be happy to pass the information along to the owners. If you want to see pictures of the house and how it’s evolved since we moved in, check here and here.
